Elena's bio

I started to study theatre and contemporary dance when I was 20,
10 years ago, in a small experimental theatre in
Parma, Italy.

After falling in love with acting and play, I deepen in it attending in Milan
the theatre school "Quelli di Grock"
(check here), where I studied more
classical techniques, but also the company's peculiar approach to gestures
as complementary language to the script.

In these 10 years I did many workshop held by Italian actors and directors
(Danio Manfredini, Emma Dante, Ariella Vidach, Gabriella Bartolomei, etc..)
that invented their own type of experimental theatre and dance.

During this period I
also did many performances, mainly in the company of
Europa Teatri and TeatroperunpĆ², in
Parma.
My last performance is "La sirenetta" ("the little mermaid") by H.C. Andersen

(check here).

Theatre is not my job, but is an extremely important part of my life.
